Ebola through the Lens was a photo competition and exhibition organised by the Open Society Initiative for West Africa (OSIWA) to collect stories and to celebrate the photojournalists that bravely covered the ebola epidemic. emé was invited to design and curate an exhibition installation that would adorn the walls of OSIWA for just under a year, as part of efforts to advocate for strengthening health systems. The success of the exhibition led to follow-up exhibits in OSIWA’s Guinea country office and a special feature in Photoville 2016 held in New York. The Ebola Through The Lens exhibit at Photoville continued to be well received, making it onto the top exhibits to visit amongst over 60 exhibitors.
